It had to be GAY PRIDE weekend... was good timing. I could wear my shorts with the arse cut out of them!
The gay parade was on boats going up and down the canals. We took a site-seeing trip down the canals and got caught right in the middle of it.
Red light district... hmmm... interesting!


The night life is fantastic in Amsterdam. This photo was exactly the way l felt after trying the local product. Tried out the 'White Widow' - after a personal recommendation by good mate Hendo - and managed to move into my own little happy place.

The view from our hotel room. Unbelievable luck too. We arrived late on Friday night and got told that they only had the President's Suite available, so they upgraded us. The normal cost of staying in the room was €470 per night, which is about $800 Australian per night. Fantastic!!!
